ABOUT CARTOONIST
Born on 20th October 1964 in a middle class family in Jamshedpur, he graduated in Mechanical Engineering from B.I.T MESRA (Birla Institute of Technology) Ranchi in the year 1989. In the real world he is a Mechanical Engineer and a Power Plant professional. He has been a cartoonist for the last 20 years. He made his first mark as cartoonist in a drawing competition at school level in the year 1976 at the age of 9. The appreciation of his work was surrounded by people and colleagues that inspired him to enter this field.

After then he started drawing and sketching all sorts of situations and surroundings that caught his attention. His insane desire for humor led him to draw all kinds of funny sketches right from his very childhood which extended to cartoons over national, international and corporate affairs later on. He has special inclination to draw over upset situations that develops around him in his day to day social and professional life. For him, cartooning is an important and intelligent activity which requires at least 50 percent imagination, 30 percent humour and only 20 percent of drawing. He sees it as a challenge to follow his passion and make his viewers see the world the way he does. Cartoonist, according to him doesn't just plan to draw, it happens spontaneously.

A new common man wearing shirt and pant with thick moustache and belly slightly outward will be seen in his all cartoons who keeps close watch on all the activities developing around him. He is simply a mute spectator to the activities happening around him and in the country.
